So Ive been out of the pc building space for a while... and when i say a while, the last build I made had a GTX 770 and that was considered new... Now dont get me wrong, Im still into pc gaming lol.

Anyways, Ive come up with some money and I want to build another pc. But this time I want to take it a step further with this build. Not only do I want it to be my first custom loop build, I want it to be hardlined... long story short, I have about 2300-2500 dollars. The parts list I have so far is linked HERE.

The reason I chose an 1800X is because for only 20 dollars more than a 2600X, you get almost as much performance as a 2700X. What I mostly need help with is choosing a good case with good water cooling support and a place to buy watercooling products. I will also have to fit peripherals and a monitor into this budget. I already have a mouse though so Im set for that. And for windows, I already have that covered as well. as for the monitor, I was thinking 1440p IPS? maybe? As you can see I already have a keyboard and speakers in the list so all I need is a monitor, a case, and a loop.... Hopefully I can fit that into $700? Anyways Im open to suggestions and my budget might be flexible for another 200 dollars if its worth it...

Also, Am I better off just going with THIS instead and adding THIS NVMe drive since it has two NVMe capable M.2 slots...? I dont mind the battery life and I understand I wont be getting the performance of a full fledged GTX 1070...

It doesnt matter who wins and who loses, because in the end, the king and the pawn go into the same box.

First of all, oh boy thats difficult to read, would help if you separated some of it to be friendlier to our eyes.

Beside that, Have I totally lost some crucial part of it- because why on earth are you talking about battery life in the last line of text???

ahh makes more sense, was not looking at the links, great :)

is it not this machine LInus also looked at?

He seems to like it, but imo a laptop cant compete with the options, upgradability and also the time before getting outdated, as a stationary machine gives you.

Looks pretty good by the way what you have pieced together

yeah but since im planning on doing a hardlined liquid loop, I dont think upgrading is much of an option anyways... only things Id be able to upgrade without having to rebend tubing would be my ram and storage... just like the laptop... Only real difference is the overclockability of the components... or am I missing something vital?
