What?

Dell optiplex 790's with 2nd gen i5's and 8gb of ram, windows 10 preinstalled sell on eBay commonly for around 120-140$

add a decent low profile gpu like 750, 1050, even a 1030 for around  120-140$ more and you have a small budget gaming computer capable of most games in 720/1080p at medium to high settings

now that you state the budget, look into a bog standard entry level quad core system with a midrange gpu like a Ryzen 3 1200 and a 1050ti

whole system would be around 500-600$

Needs dual channel memory even without the iGPU, wouldn't trust mail in rebates.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

By the way if you can, buy from micro center, they have price match so if you find anything cheaper on amazon or newegg, they will drop their price down, they sell a 480gb ssd for 75$, 30$ off MoBo with a corrosponding cpu buy. With 600, there you can buy 1060+ i38100. Their cooler master n200 is only 30$ for an amazing case, the only sharp edge i found was the external 3.5 inch bay cover. Otherwise amazing, the expansion slots were not permanant removal. I love that case for low budget builds.

Not the best build out here, but if you want Intel-Nvidia, this works well. For 1080p on ultra, expect 120 FPS average on latest Nvidia drivers.
