Hello,

I am looking for my first mechanical keyboard, I have tried two types of switches till now (blue and black) and I prefer the blue ones.

But is it worth getting a Ducky (Shine II?) or a CM Storm Quickfire TK?

Quality wise and experience wise, which one is better?

Ducky comes from thailand so I am a bit unshure about the security of the shipping and there are quickfire tk's in england.

Ducky is from Taiwan.

I recommend you a Shine 2. I bought from this site http://global.pchome.com.tw/english/

Really fast shipping through EMS.

If you don't want to buy from overseas the CM Storm line of keyboards has a really good build quality, and the TK has a great backlight

I would go for the Ducky Shine II if you have the money to buy it because this keyboard has an excellent build quality. You can get them at www.tigerimports.net or at http://mechanicalkeyboards.com

I just today took delivery of my first mechanical keyboard; a Ducky Shine 2 and I am very happy. Got a DK9008 Shine 2, MX Blue with red LED backlighting. Its awesome and well worth the money. Build quality is great. Loving it. Will post up my thoughts soon.
