Windows 10 what? You need to keep updating to the newest builds as the older versions go end of life after 18 months. So type in winver, and make sure it doesn't say Version 1507 or 1511 as those have been unsupported entirely since last year.

It looks like you are running 32 bit windows and you need 64 bit windows. You can check by following the instructions at this link. https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/13443/windows-which-operating-system

Could be, yeah, although somewhat unlikely. Not that people haven't accidentally installed 32-bit of course, haha  

 

MS should've made 10 64-bit only imo.

That being said if you had a 32 bit install of windows 7 or 8 and did an upgrade it would be 32bit Windows 10. So far more common than you would think.

I suppose so, but aside from W7 upgrades, 32-bit isn't that common. Win8 32-bit only ever released on those compute sticks and the likes, so you had to specifically buy it otherwise or be stuck in the 2006 mindset
