hi

i am hoping to get some help with  a build.

The budget is AUD $2000 is my max

the purpose of the computer is for creating virtual servers,rendering,3d modelling and gaming as well.

i currently have around 13, 3.5inch hdd so i have picked the w200 thermaltek as a suitable case.

since i have the storage and gpu already, i am looking for a motherboard, powersupply and ram for my machine.

i would like to have all the drives stored internally as i know that most motherboards wont support more then 6 or 8 i think.

After 16gb of memory with possiblity of expansion for future.

 W200  core thermaltek

Motherboard (needed)

Ram (needed )

Power Supply (needed)Processor have old i5 am willing to upgrade it if needed

Thanks if you took the time to read this

Feel free to shatter my dreams with reality

This is my best attempt at getting you something that will come close to what you desire. There is a SATA controller PCI/PCiE card to find still, more fans to budget for, and likely numerous other things that I have yet to account for.

I'm just using Newegg to pull up options for you, buy at your preferred retailer, or through amazon using the LTT affiliate link. Get at least 8GB dual channel kit, 16gb is better, but go with your budget as needed. That CPU is not as sensitive to ram speed, so I'd not spend extra money on a kit faster than 2400, but it's up to you.
