New computer. Problem when playing graphically intensive games.

Hello there ^^

I recently made a new computer.

Specs

 GPU - GTX 770 DirectCU 2

 Mobo - m5a99x evo r2.0

 CPU - AMD 8350 With a Coolermaster 212 evo

PSU - Arctic Power 750w (Dont Judge me. I got it a long time ago. I was young and naive)

 RAM - Corsair XMS 3 8GB

 SSD - Kingston Hyper X 120GB

 HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1TB

Basically after playing a graphically intensive game such as Batman Arkhams Origins or Assassins Creed Black Flag,

after roughly an an hour and a half the screen will go either grey white or black and the computer will not be usable

(Ctrl alt delete wont work for example) but for some reason I am still able to hear the ambient sound of the game,

music/birds and the such like. Also everything is running at stock speeds. I seem to be able to play less intensive games

(such as counter strike source/Magika) indefinably as far as I can tell

I have tried reinstalling drivers. I have run memtest for a while with no errors to test the RAM. I even put in a PSU my

brother had lying around still the problem occurred. I have also updated my mobo bios.

Just hope its not a GPU hardware problem. What a phaff that would be.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Processor: Ryzen 5950x GPU: RTX 3080  Mobo: X570 Aorus Pro RAM: 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15

i've had this problem before and i'm running a ASUS GTX 670. What version of nvidia driver are you running on? or you can try and restart your computer. also, double check that your graphics card is on stock speed. My main problem was that it was overclocked, and i put it back into stock speed and it worked fine again.

I also had this issue with my 7970, after the newest driver update it disappeared. There's probably a driver issue.
