I want to build a gaming machine on a budget with a ryzen 5 2400g for a friend and would like to know which components are best for that CPU, not all that familiar with AMD. I know this chip comes with Vega 11 but would like to add a GPU anyways.

If someone has built a system with that chip and has a list of parts you used, I'd love that list.

Below is one 2400G option. the X470 board means to headache with AMD about the "Bootkit" processor to get your Ryzen 2000 series processor to work

Your friend will need to budget for the Operating system separately.

Next is an I5-8400 Option that should outperform the Ryzen 5 2400G build above in most every area although the X470 board above DOES include built in support for Wi-Fi.
