Dac/Amp

Connor McG

So, I've started to be sucked into the world of awesome audio with my HD 559's, and those dont seem to be enough, so im looking for a dac/amp combo if possible, and if it can be portable as well that would be great, but it doesnt have to be. any suggestions for a 150ish dollar budget?

There are lots of options out there for that budget.

SMSL M3 Link $85.00

FX-Audio DAC X6 Link $65.00

FiiO E10k Link $75.00

Schitt Fulla 2 Link $100.00

I own the X6.. it has lots of options making it very versatile for in home use (TV, Computer, Laptop, PS4 etc)  Decent power as its wall powered not USB powered this will help for higher end headphones if you choose to upgrade down the line from the 559's.  I personally use the HD558's and HD6XX with this amp it powers both well enough.  Having the wall power is what sold me on the X6.  For instance the power from the fulla 2 @ 300ohm is 40mw where as the X6 @ 300ohm is 180mw

I would personally go with the Fulla 2 or X6.

Good luck with your purchase feel free to pm or quote me if you have any questions.

Cheers.
