This is my new build. Something I might change is the AIO cooler to a Corsair H100i V2 (is that a good idea)? I hope to play Triple A games on High to Ultra with steady framerate. The highest I will go is $1200 ($1300 is neccasary). Is there maybe better deal parts or better alternatives on my parts picked? Thanks :D

PSU is overkill and has issues with ptotections, the 750w GQ for $50 would be better. no ssd?

Cut down the price on unecessarynthings, added a 512 gb ssd nvme, and a 1080. You can replace the 1080 with the cheapest 1070 ti to save money, and the ssd for a regualr sata .5 tb ssd like the one i have. If you eant a ssd, buy a barracuda or a wd blue

What's your monitor resolution/refresh rate?

Vega 56 for potential free-sync savings, Ryzen 5 2600 because it's a better value IMO than the 8600K, if you're buying coffee lake get the i7 8700

Should get a case that actually has airflow.

Vega isnt worth it, Framesync isnt worth it of any kind, just st your fps max to refresh rate, and get a slightly faster gpu/lower settings, i5-8600k has tremendous value, outperforms i78700 non k in gaming after OC, ryzen has worse single and quad core performance.

Spurce: cpu ryzen,cpu i7, gpu vega gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1070-Ti-vs-AMD-RX-Vega-56/3943vs3938

That isn't a very useful website. Vega 56 and the 1070/ti are roughly comparable. 1070ti having the edge with an overclock.

The i7 8700 is a better value than the 8600K because you aren't investing a ton into cooling it, and it will still boost to 4.3ghz.

Ryzen is going to get you by just fine in games while being cheaper for the same core/thread count as the i7 8700.

Adaptive Sync is important to some people and in some games, nice to have as an option since it doesn't cost any extra for AMD cards.

Of course if he only has a 1080p 60hz display he's better off with like an RX 580 for now.
