Frequent Freezing -- WHY?

Hey everyone -- a new unsolved mystery from the folks where I work -- we buy refurbs, Optiplex 9010's w/ Core i5's & 16 GB RAM for about $200-300. 

 

They all work like a charm... except for one.

 

Guy comes back to his desk, wakes his PC up, gets the logon screen, but it's frozen.

 

Occasionally, it gets hung up or stuck in a loop when booting.

 

What's going one here? Anyone have similar issues? LMK

Check BIOS/UEFI version.  AFAIK, there was a chipset issue with early sandy/ivy bridge systems that caused this.

As I typed the question a couple of nights ago, I told the guy, "I bet its BIOS"
