Okay so i have a computer with the following specs :-

Asrock x58 extreme 3 mobo (no vid out on mobo)

Intel x5660 @2.8ghz

8gb ddr3 kingston ram (2gb x4)

Nvidia gt 9400 512 mb

128gb liteonit ssd

500gb wd hdd

Fsp hexa+ 550watt psu

Dell xps case

I disassembled my computer in order to clean it before i get a new graphics card. After assembling it back together it won't post at all. CPU fan spins, hard drive spins, mobo lights light up, case fans spin. Drdebug on the motherboard maintains the status "00" which according to the manual means "Passes control to OS Loader (typically INT19h)." Which i think means that everything in terms of hardware is working, components are fine and connections are alright.

6 months ago my stock intel heatsink pins broke so i screwed the heatsink with the pinholes with rubber(non-conductive) washers in between on the both sides so maybe that could be the problem but it worked fine for 6 months tho.

Things I've tried :-

-tried monitor on different pc, works

-tried graphics card on different pc, works

-ran pc on only 1 ram stick

-disconnected and reconnected all wires including the 24 pin atx wire and 8 pin 12v wire

-cleared cmos

Urgent help needed. Thanks.

Try taking the CPU out of the socket and check it for any bent pins, if there are bent pins, use a razor blade to straighten them, even if there are no bent pins, the action of reseating the cpu will sometimes fix it.

I took some pictures of the socket and cpu since i cant judge bent pins myself. Please me if they are. Ps i am aware of the dust, i didnt clean anything around the cpu in fear of somthing like this happening.

Looks fine but clean the bottom of the cpu with some alcohol and use some compressed air about 3/4 foot away from the socket.

You're saying that i should clean the cpu pins with alcohol? Wouldn't that be dangerous, to apply pressure on the pins? And can i use a hair dryer(also outputs dry room temp air) which i used for the rest of the pc (from a large distance) instead because i dont have access to compressed air cans
