Hello,

I have 2x27 U dell monitors (u2715H and U2713HM) at 1440p resolution in dual monitor setup powered by GTX770. I sometimes need to read pdfs in one full page to see the entire paragraph. I noticed that while I can read the documents, the monitor is a bit too high. Or maybe the original stand is short as the monitor cannot be fully vertical but slanted (on the u2713hm) slightly. The other monitor is fine at vertical mode. Is this the best monitor for reading pdfs vertical position? Or should I get something smaller with a lower resolution of 1080p?

Second question. In the dual monitor setup, both monitors are at angle to me so nothing is facing me directly. I just swivel the work chair slightly left/right to view whichever monitor. My central vision is the bezel. I am thinking of adding another monitor so that I can get a central view monitor flanked by 2 monitors on either side. However, I am not sure if my 5 foot long table will accommodate all 3x 27" monitors with the included stand. Anyone with 3x27"setup using the included stand or using a dedicated triple monitor stand?

Regarding the second question. I have 27" 16:9 monitors. 3 of them on a desk means you have to settle for 3" - 5" hanging of either side of a 5' desk depending on the angle you place the side monitors at. I recommend wall mounting them if possible. A "nearly" flush mount for the center one and movable mounts for the sides so you can get the angle you like. Getting the stands off the desk is such a space saver, it makes your desk feel so much bigger.

A corner desk with desk-mount monitor arms (or a wall) works well for this, although 3 27" feels like overkill to me.  I've used 3 monitors at work for years now, but max monitor size is 24".  As long as your central monitor is your most-used one, it probably works fine.

There are stands that can accommodate 3 monitors at once and include cable management features.  They do look way nicer than individual arms or mounts but you sacrifice some freedom of movement compared to individual monitor arms.

Thanks. Was looking into this as well.

A corner desk seems to be better, though I think for now I will need to pause upgrading for a moment until I get the desk and stand sorted out first.

Thanks all for the help
