So I recently built a system with:

  • CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
  • GPU: GTX 1060/RX 580/R9 280X
  • Motherboard: AB350M PRO4/A320MA-M.2
  • RAM: 8GB VEAGANCE LPX DDR4 2400/HyperX 2133
  • Power Supplies: CORSAIR RM650X/EVGA B3 650W

Things that are glitching:

  • Games are having shadow issues; such as them popping in at a really close distance.
  • Games also seem to have a pop in issue.
  • Colours changing ever so slightly ans causing a weird flickering effect on some colours; such as green or anything with a repeating pattern.

Thing I've tried:

  • Moving ram into different slots.
  • Exchanged the RX 580 for a 1060 as it uses less power, as well as trying it with one of my older cards; the R9 280x.
  • Exchanged the motherboard as it had a lot of negative reviews. Now running a A320MA-M.2.
  • Memtest86 on both sticks; No errors on both sticks over 6 runs.
  • Swapped the power supply multiple times for each configuration.
  • Updated to the latest bios/windows updates
  • Used a different monitor/output. DVI/HDMI/DP all do the same thing.

I have no idea really but it kind of annoys me as I've returned a bunch of working hardware because I have literally no idea. I generally don't have anything open when playing games as I only have 8GB of ram, I pretty much just have Uplay or Steam open but it depends on what I'm playing.

Did you properly install drivers?

I always install the drivers though the AMD/Nvidia site. Doesn't seem to be a driver issue as I've tried older and new drivers.

Getting the same problems on a different system all together now, only thing in common is the RAM and storage.
