Block anime on youtube

as the subject says. is there a possible way to block anime content in youtube? or any certain category>

Not really as far as I know. You can try using YouTube Kids but that's only for mobile devices.

There is Restricted Mode but that only blocks things flagged for inappropriate content.

There are perhaps browser extensions out there but I don't know what browser you use so I won't be able to give any recommendations.

 

May I ask why you want to block anime content, however?

i hate animes and they keep popping at my suggested content bcoz my brother watching them on LG smart tv with my account

The easiest way would be to use separate accounts. The suggestion algorithm is quite good and won't show what you don't watch.

I second this. Make a second account, your shouldn't be watching YouTube (or really doing anything Google-related) with the same account because the suggestion algorithm will take everyone's watches into account.

To fix your account if your brother gets his own account is to click not interested on all anime videos you see & don’t watch them. Disliking also helps.
