Dedicated physx cards

Hi guys! 

 

I'm currently running a GTX 1060 6 GB card in my system and was wondering if I could use a 1050ti as a dedicated physx card in my system. Will I see a performance boost for gaming, even if it is only marginal? Note: I got the 1050ti as a birthday present and don't intend on purchasing one for this purpose.

No, you wont see a performance boost. You may actually see a lower performance.

You can use it for NVENC recording in OBS instead of using ShadowPlay and you can crank up the bitrate quite hight without it affecting performance.
