Hard Drive/SSD Question

Hey,

 

I am planning to do a new PC build and I will be using an NVME or SSD for primary boot drive. I was wondering if there is any way to use the hard drive from my current PC in the new build while keeping all the files on the current hard drive?

You can move the current hdd over and put it in the new system and it will have all the files still on it.

Would it interfere because of the windows files and what not already existing?

Windows could be unbootable if you put the current HDD to new computer, but other personal data could be accessible.

It should work just like any other storage device, just navigate to your user and there you should be able to see all your data.
