Which CPU

So I'm planning a build for a friend and I'm planning to use it to try and get rid of some parts that are just laying around gathering dust. I've got a Z270-UD3, an Enermax ETS-N30, a GTX 1050 Ti, 2TB Barracuda and an 8GB stick of G.Skill Aegis that I've gotten through various other projects. I'm planning to put together a system... well, mostly to find something to do with some of the parts that are beginning to encroach on my worktable, but I still want it to be a capable system in case I ever need a second PC - My younger brother does have his birthday coming up soon...  I've picked out a Team L5 Lite 3D 120GB for the boot drive and a Cougar MX330 for the case but I'm hung up on which CPU to get. I want a quad core and the cheapest one that will fit in my board is the i5-6400, however for a few bucks more I can get either a tray 7500 or box 7400. Which of these is the best option in your opinion or would it be worth it to step up the 7600K or something else? Max budget is around 200 for the CPU.

You can get a used 7600k off ebay for 150-200, and either save the extra money or get a 250gb SSD.

Used 7700k's are out of your budget.

I can't buy used - my parents are paying for it (I convinced them it's worth $300 to get a bunch of shelf space back)
