Hey guys i recently did a last fine tuning on my overclock on the FX 8350 which now is running at 4515mhz and my NB and HT are at 2475mhz.But my Ram speeds are affected by the bus speed of my cpu. They are Samsung 1600mhz DDR3's 16gb 8x2 sticks but are running at 1800mhz and no not 1866 .. just 1800. Is that normal ? and is there any way that i can go around it?
The lower setting for ram in the bios is 1499mhz..

CPU bus speed is what has affected your RAM speed. (multiplication of bus x DIMM multiplier)

bus clock can be nightmarish, but when config'd can be an overall better plan. but usually when crashes happen, most don't know if it was RAM (speed), voltage, or bridge that actually failed the overclock. bootstrap overclocking has always been what was needed to boost clocks, but when sandy bridge happened, VCORE and multiplier made easier sense.

I could very easily overclock my 8350 using multiplier and the manually overclocking my NB and HT with 200mhz to 2400mhz and ram will stay at 1600mhz but i don't know if that would make any difference in performance.. I do really get a bit smoother fps after i clocked ym NB and HT also my min fps is higher so not so mane dips in fps.
