Hello.

I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place to ask but I am looking to build a very high-end desktop and use a particular Linux distro that has some strict hardware requirements.

My desired specs are as follows.

  • Gigabyte X399 Aorus Gaming 7 motherboard
  • AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X CPU
  • Corsair Vengeance RGB 64GB 3200MHz RAM
  • Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB GPU

Now I want to know if any of these components support the following features.

  • IOMMU
  • VT-x
  • VT-d
  • AMD-Vi
  • Interrupt Mapping
  • Second Level Address Translation (SLAT)

Thank you.

Threadripper has quite good support for VM. I'd be pretty surprised if something with 16 cores lacked support for such things. I know my Ryzen 1700X supports all of these things except for Interrupt Mapping and SLAT, of which I'm not certain about.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
