G502 not detected

Just bought a g502 off the amazon warehouse and as I plug it in everything goes fine. I install the Logitech software and all is well. Suddenly it disconnects and is not usable. It turns off and on a couple of times but now it does nothing.

I have tried it on another laptop, in the bios and have reinstalled an older version of the software.

If I look in the sensor, I can see redness when it is plugged in that is black when unplugged.

Any ideas?

send logitech a message and if its under 3 years old they will send you a new one for free, you might need to send your back but most of the time you just need to send the picture of the mouse and they send you a  new one for free

if you look at the serial number and it says 15, 16 or 17 to start with then it will work, the first two number stand for the year it was produced
