Cloud Stinger, G430 or something else?

Hey guys! My 30€ Sades headset is completely dead after 4 years of good-ish performance. I know nothing about headsets and would like to buy a new one with a budget between 40 to 60€ (basically nothing over USD 50 from what I have seen, shitty conversion rates).

 

I will use it at 75% of the time for gaming but I don't really look for the sharpest mic, so if that's a trade-off over a better audio output quality, no problem!

 

On Amazon, the HyperX Cloud Stinger and the Logitech G430 have the best reviews within my financial constrains, which one should I pick? If you have a better suggestion, please do share.

 

Regarding the sound card, I will be using the integrated one on my MSI z370 Gaming Plus motherboard.

 

PS: I absolutely need it to have a 3.5mm jack for the occasional use at work.

As someone who has owned the cloud stingers and hyper X Clouds I would reccommend if at all possible pushing your budget to afford the clouds as they just have more clarity and don't sound as muddy, although you have been using Sades so the stingers will still probably be an audio upgrade on that.

Never used the Logitech G430 so have no thoughts on them

Used the G430, never gonna buy it again. The mic sends everything it catches to your ears. You can suppress that with the higher end models but with the G430, as soon as the mic is on, your noise cancelling is dead

 

Btw did I mention that the build quality is trash? Well now you know it, it's trash, go buy something else. The G933/633 are way better in regards of everything you can imagine. The G430 feels like a chinese knock-off, that kind of bad quality

Im also trying to choose between the HyperX stinger and the Cloud Core which is $10 more ..... should i just go with the Cloud Core?

Yes go for the cloud cores, I believe the drivers are the same as the Cloud 2s on the cores the only difference is that the mic is slightly worse and you don't get the surround sound feature (which you wouldn't wana use anyway)

That would have been my next question, pick the Stinger or the Cloud I (not the core, since they are priced the same as the Stinger in Europe).

 

After reading some reviews, it was point out that the Cloud sounds muddy without a proper sound card, like on smartphones or tablets or old motherboards. So I was wondering if the integrated one on my MSI z370 Gaming Plus is an issue. Maybe it's due to the high resistance of the headset compared to regular gaming headsets, I got no clue since I'm not sure how it all works. Any ideas?
