i would like to use my gaming rig to mine whilst I sleep but am unsure of how to do it as I don't understand it fully if anyone could link me to a document or how to do it I should catch on pretty fast.

Find a pool to mine on, in my case, a pool for Electroneum: https://electroneum.hashvault.pro/en/#!/ports

Make a wallet to get a wallet address to deposit mining funds into, in my case, im mining to my ETN wallet made on their mobile app: https://electroneum.com/

 

In this setup I would run XMR-stak, it would ask me for the currency I want to mine (Electronuem which is CryptonightV7 algorithm), it would ask me for my pool address im mining on, and it would ask me for my wallet address. XMR-Stak should auto-configure for CPU and GPU mining.

 

Please note the pool and wallet will be unique to the currency you want to mine. You can't mind Monero on an Electroneum pool. And you cant deposit Monero mining rewards to an Electroneum address.
