Depends on what you're using the displays for.

It takes quite a bit of power to push 2 4K displays.

I would be pushing 4k on both for desktop applications.

While I play games on one the other may be for web browsing etc

Right now I have a 1080ti but I want to use that in my new build and replace it in my current setup with something that while still capable, is as cheap as I dare go.

Depends on the quality you want graphically wise, it ranges from a GTX 980 Ti ~ 1070 ~ Vega56 all the way to the Vega64~1080 Ti for a good time playing at 4k.

the more power the better but as said it'll fall down to what you're after really:

The best graphics cards “barely” do 4k. If you want a cheap 4K gaming card you want the 12 or 13 series from nvidia. So basically you can get what you want in 2-5 years.

Not being a smart-ass, that’s the real honest answer.

Cheap and 4K gaming belong in the same sentence like freedom and life in prison.
