I want to remove the google search bar on the home screen of my google pixel original. I do not want to mess with any 3rd party loaders or anything like that.

You should be able to just tap, hold and drag to the x that pops up on screen, or just go into the settings and disable it.

this,   or use a hammer to ur screen, works well too ... however that solution is permanent and cannot be revert

No X it doesn’t respond to holding and I’m considering the hammer

Not that I see but it isn’t my phone and I don’t want to poke around to much.
