Prices for PC parts aren't very good in the Philippines. Very hard to find good quality PSUs for reasonable prices. I'm not sure whether it's normal to haggle prices where you are, but it might be worth a try if you are visiting a store to pick it up to try and haggle the price down a bit.

The best I've found even close to your budget that isn't a fire hazard is this Seasonic. It's not the best quality PSU, but it's okay and it's the best I can find close to your budget.
Seasonic S12II-520 520Watts 80PLUS Bronze - PHP 2850 (might be able to haggle down below 2700?)
https://tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=42485717

If you can afford more, I would recommend you going with the Corsair CX550M instead. It's more expensive, but it is a little better quality.
Corsair CX550M - PHP 3700

Both of those PSUs will work with your current system and the system you plan to upgrade to.

Hi everyone so my pc shutdowns by itself a while ago and I can smell my generic PSU smells like a burnt uh idk.

I'm not sure if it is caused by overheat or it's completely broken. I'm afraid to boot up my pc because it might explode or something lol.

Now if I were to change my PSU what do you guys recommended that is under $50?

My specs:

MB: MSI H81M-P33

VC: AMD Radeon R7 260X 2GB

RAM: Kingston Hyper X Fury 4GB

Proc: i3-4170

Also I want a PSU that can handle GTX 1050 and G4560 because im planning to upgrade in november lol.

Don't use the machine if the PSU is damaged or faulty.

$50 USD? CoolerMaster MasterWatt 550W will probably be the best you can get for around that price, but I'm not sure what pricing is like in the Phillipines.

CPU: Intel i7 6700k  | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450

Hello thanks for responding!

I tried searching MasterWatt 550W but it seems it's not available here in the Philippines.

But what do you think about in these psu?

Cooler Master Elite V3 600W = $46

Corsair VS550 Power Supply = $34

Nah, don't go with those. They're not very good.

As a general guide you can use the PSU Tier List to check PSU models. Tier 1 is the best, Tier 7 is the worst. The Cooler Master Elite series is Tier 7, and the Cosair VS is Tier 6. Both ranked very poorly. Try and find something that is at least Tier 3 within your budget, between 450-550W.

What are the websites for some reputable PC part stores in the phillipines? If I have some spare time I might be able to help you find something.

I think you meant by bargaining price to get the item for lower price right? It's also popular here but there are some stores who dont do that. But, there are people who sells 2nd hand items that you can haggle.

About the PSU that you recommended, maybe I'll just stick to the seasonic since im going to upgrade my case too (old, generic and video card's port is not that exactly fit).

So yeah, thank you very much for helping!
