looking for a good headset

my headset tht im currently useing is dying it was good for 2 years but recently the right side has died and i get audio only on the left side. so now im look for a new head set that can replace my old one and i want some suggestions in the 60-100$ range. by the way my old headset is a turtle beach x12

How much can you nab SE-A1000 and a ZM-1

+1 I would recommend that too if you are thinking about a headphone plus microphone combo.

Later on you could upgrade to a Modmic if you need it.
