Lenovo M72e GPU support

So im thinking about upgrading a Lenovo M72e with a Case transfer, PSU and GPU upgrade since the CPU is pretty capable and it looks to be a decent board however i have had issues with certain OEM's (HP) in which it wouldn't boot properly with a GTX 960 installed (issues regarding BIOS) and i wanna make sure that this wont happen again if i do go ahead with this upgrade.
So basically i'm asking has anyone here ever put a decent older GPU in one of these Mobo's before and was it successful?

9/10 it'll be fine. Most of the time it's a PSU limitation, not a motherboard limitation.

I think it'll work.

Yeah i thought as much and usually its only HP that have that issue since their so ridiculous with their proprietary stuff (this is coming from a Dell restorer lol)
I also just found a vid in which a guy upgraded one with a 1050ti so i think its gonna work
