I believe they changed the name of the project. To what I'm not sure.

 

I've used it.. it's pretty garbo.. Good idea, poor implementation.

 

Check out LuneOS if your looking for an alternative to Android. It's not an Android rom it's Palm's WebOS that was ported to Android devices they have a lot of work to do but it does have semi-modern apps.. The palm community pretty much never went away after the demise of WebOS.

When Canonical dropped it a group of volunteer devs took over, the new project name is UBPorts.  You can see the devices that they support here: https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/

Unfortunately your Samsung is not on there.

Yeah.. I want to give this a roll.. I haven't for a while though. It's an attempt to make a phone that is Google/Spyware free. I use to own a Pre and they were great phones. I really think WebOS's card based interface is unique and quite good. (switching apps should feel like using a deck of cards in your hand, you throw cards away for instance by flicking them up.. it's a great design.. and remember they did this design back in Android 2.0 days)
