Good choice?

I am building my first gaming pc and I want to use an Asus Z370-F ROG STRIX Motherboard with an Intel i5 8600K processor and was wondering if an EVGA 1070Ti (Black Edition) would be too much for this build or if I should stick to the Asus 1060 6GB OC edition.

Let me know if you have any other suggestions

get the best graphics card you can afford for this build.
