I've bought a 144 hz monitor and since my laptop doesn't support 144hz 1080p with hdmi i bought a usb-c to displayport cable. When i use the display port i notice a huge fps drop(about 50%) because it looks like my usb-c is connected to intel graphics ( i attached an image of my screen in the nvidia control panel) and when i connect trough hdmi i get normal fps because it connects to the gtx 1060 max-q but i only get 120hz(also attached an image)1060.thumb.png.f78f5532b257d45fbab49773e9790ed3.pngIntel.thumb.png.c13f0de9d47f0cf723215535ad9c034d.png. Is this a hardware problem and can it be fixed?
