Hello everyone,

as you can see on the screenshot below, the windows updates have reached 100% of the download-status and yet the windows update service is still downloading more data. :S

Can anyone explain to me why this is happening and if there is any way to find out how long it will take until it is done downloading? :|

(I know, my internet is slow. Will get 100mbit/s next month ;))

To accelerate updates delivered to your systems in your network, and outside, P2P is enabled by default. You download and upload.

The option is found under Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Advanced > Delivery Optimization.

This option impacts not only Windows Updates, but also Store download and updates of apps/games/etc.

I disabled that already, but thanks for the tip! :)

The service is using the network with a constant speed of 2MBit/s, which indicates it is downloading, as it is my maximum download speed.
But what is it downloading, when all updates are finished with downloading? That's what I don't understand..

I cannot read German. So you'll need to translate that to me.

But I suspect than it is the Store that is updating your apps.

Just keep in mind that Windows services are used more than 1 specific task.

Makes sense.
It's just weird to see that percentage slowly creeping up towards 100% and it just doesn't stop downloading when it reaches it. :S
