I have a new build and almost everything is fine except for several things. When trying to create a Windows boot stick, it always fails no matter the stick I try. I’m not sure of the error code it spits out, but it it renders the drive unusable and says, “please insert a disk into this drive” or something. When trying to use Diskpart to fix any of these issues, it always says an error occurred: access denied. The event log tells me it’s unable to zero the sectors. I tried cloning my main boot disk to another with Samsung data migration, it gives me a cloning error. I recently changed my motherboard, but I had the same issued on the last one, and trying to install Windows resulted in a bsod in which the boot sectors were missing.

I’m just really confused.....

So, you tried installing Windows to a new SSD and the SSD is acting like it's write protected?

Well, I’m trying to wipe and then reninstall on the same disk. It installs properly, but it bsods immediately after. I’m going to try another drive.
