im building i7 8700 non k pc (not gonna oc) which mobo should i get?

becoz the price of z370 and b360 are not much different if i could afford the z370 should i go for it?

Unless you plan on getting a k series later on you should just get a decent b360 board from Asrock or Asus

Dont forget to buy a cooler for the 8700 as the stock cooler isnt enough

Go z370. My saying has always been "Buy nice, dont buy twice"

Something that surprised me in my build was the default memory speed for the DDR4 is 2133MHz and you have to overclock it to get the advertised speeds that you bought it for. The overclocking is not going to hurt it or anything else and is what the manufacturer intends when you purchase it. Also here is a cool chart.

Go for Z370, why not, you can always buy an unlocked chip in the future and dabble in overclocking.

Just buy a Z370 now instead of buying a B360 now and then having to spend once again for a Z370.

Only if the added cost does not take away from any other component. A good B360 or H370 motherboard is as good as a Z370.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
