my build that im ordering parts on is below. Everyone will have there opinions on certain things. My question is will a Radeon RX Vega 56 be compatible with this build? What is the RX Vega 56 equivalent to in terms of Nvidia cards (i am only familiar with Nvidia).

I forgot to mention but if you can find a lower wattage psu for less you should consider that option but if you’re planning to overclock or something then 850w is fine even though it’s still a bit much imo. You might also want to invest in a better cooler because 8700k is known to get quite hot as well from what I’ve seen on forums.

V56 is a GTX 1070, in AMD sponsored titles using DX12 you can call it a 1070 Ti...

Yes it would be compatible but you'd be better off with a 1070 Ti or even a 1080 Ti if you can afford it, I mean the whole build aside that lame 1060 is super high end and can comport any GPU you want.

As long as the motherboard has a full PCIe 16x slot, any modern GPU will be compatible. The RX Vega series of GPUs I don't know too much about, but I'm fairly certain the Vega 56 cards are between 1070 and 1070 Ti, whereas Vega 64 is between 1070 Ti and 1080
