Power button Thing

I need this power button thing I don't know what its called, but I know it exists. it is basically a smart switch without the smart part, it has a button that connects to the outlet to turn it on and off from your desk or something.

it plugs into the outlet then the appliance into it, there is a cable that comes from it with a button on the end which gives power to the appliance.

Based on your description I would also say that you’re talking about a piggyback plug with a switch.
