Definitely. IPS is quite a bit better than TN in terms of color accuracy and vividness.

ok and one more question, i have an nvidia card, would gsync be worth the $250 expense, or should i go with the freesync for $500 and maybe go with a amd build later?

I run a FreeSync display on an Nvidia card, no problems. I run at 75Hz as well.

 

G-Sync usually works best at refresh rates upwards of 100Hz.
