Upgrade Suggestion

Hey eveyone

 

I got a decent build ( was good 4 years ago) and I mostly play online games , some competitive and some for fun so this summer i decided its time to upgrade, my build is as follow:

 

I Have an i5 4690k 3.50GHZ, 8GB ddr3 ram , cm b700 ver.2 power supply , a r9 200series 3gb and a msi z97 motherboard.

 

The new forza horizon is coming out in a couple of months along with a lot of other games Id like to play with good perfor. About the upgrades I was thinking about adding 8GB ram , changing my board,  i dont know if I need to upgrade my cpu or my power supply. About the graphic cards I was thinking of a 1060 6gb or a 1070ti because the 1070 its not really worth imo because its only a bit cheaper than the ti. Whats you opinion and sorry for my bad english its not my native language.

I would upgrade the GPU and add RAM

If you want to upgrade to a new motherboard, you'll need a new CPU, DDR4 Ram which will substantially increase the cost of the upgrade
If you don't plan on overclocking: an i5 8400 with a B360 board and 8-16GB DDR4 will be more than enough for your use case.

Otherwise I suggest a 2600X with a x470 motherboard and 8-16GB 3000+ mhz

I think the only thing that can stay is the PSU, HDD, and case. This should be good.
