If you're looking at older AAA titles, e-sports, indie games, that stuff, you're good. If you're looking at modern (post-2015) AAA games, you really ought to be looking at cards with 4GB of RAM (or at least 3).

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Yeah I was looking into building an entire new rig, not upgrading. I think I'm better off waiting for the new cards to be released.

2gb is on the edge of being enough for new games, but it's good enough for something at this price and performance level
