I've learned enough about the Nvidia control panel to figure out it's not as intuitive as you would think when it comes getting the highest scores while benchmarking. For example, if AF and AA are turned off then I get a lower score than if they are set to 'Application-Controlled'. You would think that having those off would lead to higher scores but it's the opposite. Also, Trilinear and AF optimizations lower scores too which you would think would be the opposite. The above is true regarding Firestrike, Timespy, and Passmark.

 

Has anyone figured out the optimal Nvidia control panel settings for benchmarking?
