Generic - Multi-Card USB Device ??

Hello there, My brother is a regular viewer of Linus and I myself enjoy watching, Up until recently I have wanted to upgrade my 'Potato' Otherwise known a computer, Into a suitable, cheap gaming computer. So I asked my brother to open my computer, take a gander and look at what I can sell for money. On my computer it claims I have 2 hard drives (I think??)) Yet my brother could only find a single drive. but today I opened Task manager to force end my game since it was crashing, I clicked the 'Performance' tab and saw 'Disk 1' And thought 'Hey this is the other hard drive right?' But it didn't display anything like 'Disk 0' (Which I knew was my hard drive)

So I googled it and it came up with things I couldn't make clear, Something about SD cards? But my brother insisted it wasn't, Anyway here's the 'Disk 1' screenshot.

Sorry for so many links!  I'm going to buy a GTX 970 soon and I'd like to know what this is and if it's worth a bit (British GBP) Thank you!!!

Just looked up the PC: http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/1655492.pdf

There's a card reader in the front. It's detected by Windows as a disk drive.
