Posted June 9, 2018 What hardware are you using and at what fps? Are you using 60hz or 144hz monitor? What are.your thoughts on current/"near" future cards? FINALLY, are you content or do you want to upgrade to better hardware for an improved 1440p experience? Posted June 9, 2018 GTX 1080 with an HP Omen 32" 75 Hz monitor here. I love it ! Freesync keeps it at 75 Hz, with it off around 110 fps on BF1 ultra. Forgive me El Guapo. I know that I, Jefe, do not have your superior intellect and education... Posted June 9, 2018 I played at 1440p with GTX 1050 2GB, GTX 1060 6GB and GTX 1080ti 11GB Games like Overwatch, Rocket League, CS:GO, League of Legends, DOTA 2 on LOW/MEDIUM settings with the GTX 1050 2GB you can easily push over 100FPS. But games like Battlefield 1 for example, just barely hit 60FPS even on the lowest settings. With GTX 1060 6GB, you can play any game at 60+FPS without issue, it just comes down to what kind of games you play. In the less demanding ones you can just max out the settings and in the more demanding ones you may need to settle to Medium/High. With GTX 1080ti you can obviously push any game well above 60FPS even on High/Ultra settings. I personaly preffer to use High settings instead of Ultra because I play on a 1440p 165Hz monitor so it makes it easier for my GPU to push those frames. In games like Witcher 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider, on ULTRA you will sit bellow 100FPS most of the time but if you have a 60Hz monitor then it doesent really matter, you will still get more than a very playable framerate.
