(Bluetooth) PC and P9 Lite cannot see eachother

They can't see each other at all, they're both discoverable. My computer sees it, tries to pair, my Huawei P9 Lite doesn't respond.

 

Now I thought the phone's bt is fucked so I dug up my old Sony Xperia Tipo and tested a few things.

- P9 Lite and Xperia Tipo can pair

- PC and Xperia Tipo can pair

- PC and P9 Lite cannot talk to eachother whatsoever.

 

what giveth?!

Which windows? I always found bluetooth implementation in drivers buggy. So what model adapert, and what OS?

Why would you want to connect the phone to the pc via bluetooth?

What can you do with that? Just curious.

So It managed to detect it 2-3 times but on the PC side its like you're ready to go! But on the phone's side its not showing in the list as a paired device. Rotten luck I'd say.

OK so now they're paired (supposedly) but attempts of sending or receiving files fail.

I've not tried sending files via bluetooth recently. Can you not just use a cable? Most devices will do a simple usb cable to data via Media Transfer Protocol (MTP). That is the quickest and easiest way. If you have a charging cable, 99% of the time it will do data too.

 

Or I use dropbox and do it via the "cloud".
