Hi All,

Can anyone recommend an automatic driver updater? Have been experiencing some problems where my computer would turn off randomly, and I want to make sure it isn't a driver issue, but am unsure as to how to update the drivers.

All recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I can say right now that its unlikely driver issue. Depending on shutdown it can be RAM, HDD/SSD, PSU, unstable OC on CPU, or mobo going bad.

If you have Windows 10, it will update drivers same time it installs other updates. For many other devices, using manufacturers own software suite will inform if there's update available. Just don't use any 3rd party updaters. They can make things worst and are mostly waste of money.

Thanks for the reply. Glad to know it's not likely to be a driver issue. Equipment about a year old, so doubt it's going bad already. Tried contacting Nvidia, couldn't fix it. Just going to live with it for the time being. It's an old monitor anyway.

Edit: You probably have no idea what I just talked about. I was referring to 2nd monitor flickering in last part of the message. Mixed up the issues!

Flickering sounds like bad cable or connector. Or loose cable. If it was GPU, your both screens would do it, and you would also get discoloring and drivers crashing.
