Hey guys, I wanted to ask for some opinions on some weird temperatures I've been having with my 1700x.

I've changed the cooler from an Alpine 64 Pro cooler to a Shuriken Scythe rev. B, and at first with some Noctua paste with the Alpine were about 71 degrees under load (it's quite hot around here too; 30 degrees, but when ACed to 23 degrees, the temps remained the same). I put this new cooler on which by just about all means is much better and temps were about 75.

Reapplied and used arctic 5, and now it idles at 55/56 at 23 degrees AC, and is under load at about 62 degrees. Is it normal for the range to be so utterly tiny? There are also some awkward spikes to 65/66 when idling for no reason.

Any opinions on the weirdly high temps while idling, and very respectable temps while under load?
