So recently I went to play Hitman, and about a minute or so into playing everything just seemed to freeze up. Nothing crashes, but the game runs super slow and so does my desktop / any other application until I quit Hitman. I feel like my GPU is dying as the same happens with fortnite, however I haven't experienced it with any other games, however I have played both these games perfectly well before. Kinda just dying because I'm dying for a bit of hitman so, please let me know what's going on. Cheers

Try uninstalling your drivers with DDU and then reinstalling an earlier version.

I ran into issues with games when I was on the 397.94 GeForce driver, rolling back to 397.63 seemed to fix it.

From your description, it doesn’t looks like your graphics card is dying. The problem is either software or temperature related.

Can you give us the temperatures of the card while under full load?

Also, what version of the NVIDIA drivers are you using?
