RX 580 4 GB might cost roucly 250$ depending on the regional market

What games do you play? Certain games are more graphically demanding than others.

The goal is to find a GPU-CPU combo that won't cause any bottlenecks.

There shouldn't be a bottleneck between your i7-7400 and a GTX 1060 3GB.

However, if it fits your budget, I would go for the 1060 6 GB instead. This card can be seen as kind of a 1060 Ti having not only more VRAM but also more power (CUDA cores 1280 vs. 1152) compared to the 3 GB version.

This is especially true when you are planning to upgrade your CPU in the near future. The additional performance that you get from the 6 GB version will play very nicely with a more powerful CPU than your current 7400.

So, as a conclusion: your CPU will probably not bottleneck a GTX 1060 3 GB. And, if you have the budget, get yourself the 6 GB version. It will definitely be worth it.

thanks I ll see if I can since prices change alot

but if I can not which 3gb version should I get from the above?

Well both have the exact same core/boost speeds.

I will say this however: EVGA has much better customer support/service should you need it. Also EVGA's standard warranty is 3 years with a 5 year extended warranty option and Zotac's is 2 years with a 1 year extended warranty option.

If I would buy a GeForce graphics card, I always go for either EVGA or ASUS. So in this case I will go for the EVGA 1060 3 GB. :)

BUT, as I have said: you should really consider going for the 6 GB version instead.
