So my pc keeps freezing after a few hours of playing games. I recently overclocked my ryzen 1200 ti 3.8ghz with a auto voltage at 1.304 volts. Also I just got a gtx 1060 3gb and I don’t believe it had been overclocked. I don’t know why it keeps freezing after around 2 hours of playing. I think it might be an overheating issue, my cpu is fine but my gpu tends to get hot around 70-75c  (I’m not monitoring it all times) or it could be my power supply anyways help!

Specs:

Ryzen 3 1200 3.8ghz

B350 Pro-VHD motherboard

8gb ddr4 ram 2400ghz

Gtx 1060 3gb gigabyte model

EVGA 450 BV

Is your overclock stable? What GeForce driver are you running?

Drop the OC, see if it still happens.  If not, you need more voltage or lower clocks.

For reference, Most R5 1400's need 1.4v for 3.8 or 3.9.

He is right I think you should get a 550watt psu or should lower the cpu clock speed. And make sure to get a good cooler if you want to clock higher otherwise you will face the same problem or get your cpu toasted.

I’ve ran intel burn test and it’s come out as stable the highest temp it 72c. The drivers the newest GeForce game ready driver version 389.11

Try 397.64.

I've experienced the newer drivers causing my games to freeze and crash, but the game itself will stay open and I can't get it to close without forcing a restart.
