New graphics card choosing problem.

I want to but a new graphics card, i've got a gtx 1060 now but yeah its fun to upgrade (-:

Should I collect money to buy a 1080 or should I wait until the gtx 11 series comes out?

What games do you play and what monitor do you have?

The 1060 is a very capable card, so I would wait for the 11 series to come out. You dont want someone to outperform you with a card that costs the same amount in 2 months or so. (Most people think the "long time" statement was a lie)

I am curently using an 1920x1080 but i am going to upgrade to an 2560x1080 (ultra wide).

Here are my specs:

i7 8700 @ 4.5Ghz

16gb 1667Mhz ddr4 (Dual channel)

Corsair vs650 80plus psu

MSI b360m PRO-VDH

I'll be waiting for the end of July. If no word comes out by then, I'm going to say screw it and get a 1080ti. Been saving up forever for this and dealing with a seemingly dying 980ti (thats now in RMA with Gigabyte "showing no issues..."). It's getting rather difficult to be patient.
