Mobo/RAM recommendations for my lazy ass

Hey all,

I want to pick up an 8700k soon.  My 3570k has been a champ, but now it can't keep up with my gtx 1080.  However, I can't seem to decide on a Mobo/RAM combo.  Ideally, I want a board that strikes good a balance between cost and features, along with the fastest possible RAM for the new CPU.

Also, does NVME provide enough of a boost over regular SSD for me to upgrade right away, or am I OK with holding off until prices decrease a bit more.

Thanks

NVME is pointless unless you work with a large file transfers often. The extra performance is barely noticeable in a day to day use as the random 4k write/read speeds are barely any better than on most of the SATA III SSDs.
