I got it for Christmas! The MX Cherry Red's

This is the 1st keyboard that I have ever had that utilized MX Cherry Red switches and I MUST SAY....it's like typing on air! I have an extremely difficult time with the fact that Roccat doesn't have as much traction as they should. I feel that they are so far ahead of the curve as far as "pleasing everyone", you don't like red switches? try the other 3 on the same KB. I bought their mouse a while back, the Kone, and I fell in love with it! It's like the closest thing to the mx-518 that I have handled...well since the mx-518.

 

Does anyone know why they don't have more publicity? Are they a new company or something? I'm highly surprised that the gaming industry isn't eating them up requesting sponsorships and everything.

The closest thing to the MX518 is the G400s. It is the same mouse without angle snapping.

 

But Roccat is pretty reputable. Their Kone showed everyone they were not some nobody company since they are so new. But most of their non mice peripherals are fairly average since there is not much you can do with a keyboard.

Well the diversity with the keyboard is nice. Most keyboards have 1 kind of switch and not a choice between 4. It leaves what the customer wants up to them instead of what the company thinks is best. Although I came from using a Razer Keyboard so that's probably why I like this one so much.

I had 2 kova mice and a headset from roccat and they all fell apart after a couple of months. I like the aesthetics of some of their products but i felt the build quality wasn't there. I may have just been unlucky. However the support did suck and you don't get the guarantees that other brands provide.
